Search

Search finds anything in the current workspace from one box: a thread, a Space, a task, a canvas, a workflow, a data object, a file, or a settings page. It is the fastest way to get somewhere when you know the name of what you are after.

Open Search

• Click the Search button (the magnifying glass) at the right of the workspace name, at the top of the left sidebar, beside the bell.
• Or press ⌘F or ⌘K on a Mac, Ctrl+F or Ctrl+K on Windows and Linux, from any page.

The shortcut does nothing while you are typing in a text field, so it never takes over a field you are filling in. Press Esc to close Search.

What you see

With the box empty, Search lists the latest items of each kind, so the things you touched most recently are a click away. Start typing and the list turns into the matches for your words, one section per kind of item.

Results come in this order:

1. Threads
2. Spaces
3. Tasks
4. Canvas
5. Workflows
6. Data objects
7. Files
8. The settings items: Agents, Memory, Connectors, Vaults, Roles, Teams, and the Settings pages themselves.

Under All, each section shows its first five matches. If what you want is not there, type a few more letters, or switch to that kind's tab.

Narrow it with the tabs

A row of tabs across the top of the dialog narrows the results to one kind: All, Threads, Spaces, Tasks, Canvas, Workflows, Data, Files and Settings. Under its own tab, a kind lists up to 25 matches.

Press Tab to step to the next tab and Shift+Tab to step back, without leaving the search box. Press Enter to open the highlighted result.
