This policy explains how cookies are used on Next Gate Tech's websites. The policy may be amended from time to time. When we do, we will let you know by appropriate means such as by posting the revised policy on this page with a new "Last Updated" date.
When you use our websites for the first time, we give you the opportunity to accept or decline cookies. What Are Cookies?
A cookie is a small piece of data that a website asks your browser to store on your computer or mobile device. Cookies are designed to hold a modest amount of data specific to a particular client and website, and can be accessed either by the web server or the client computer. The cookie allows the website to deliver a page tailored to a particular user, and cookies "remember" your actions or preferences over time.
What Are Tracking Pixels?
Tracking pixels are transparent graphic images (sometimes called web beacons or tracking beacons) that are placed on certain pages of websites. A tracking pixel collects certain electronic information from you such as your IP address, browser, and your location. These may be forwarded to advertising platforms for the purpose of providing targeted adverts and to understand how you interact with our email marketing or websites.
Types of Cookies
We categorize cookies by their purpose. The sections below explain each category and, under "Our Use of Cookies", state which we actually use.
- Strictly Necessary Cookies: These are cookies that are required for the operation of our websites or provide services explicitly requested by you. They include, for example, cookies that enable you to log into secure areas of our websites or apps, and cookies that keep our websites secure.

- Analytical/Performance Cookies: These help us to understand how visitors interact with our websites and product by collecting and reporting information. This helps us to improve the way our websites work, for example, by ensuring that users are able to find what they are looking for easily.
- Marketing Cookies: These record a visit to a website, the pages viewed, and the links followed, and are used to make advertising more relevant to a user's interests. They may involve sharing information with third parties for that purpose.

Duration of Cookies
There are two main types of cookies according to their duration:
- Session Cookies: These cookies are temporary and expire when your session ends, either after you leave the website or when you close your browser.
- Persistent Cookies: In contrast to session cookies, persistent cookies are stored on your equipment between browsing sessions until expiry or deletion. They therefore enable the website to "recognise" you on your return, remember your preferences, and tailor services to you. The expiry of each cookie we use is shown in the "Expiry" column of the tables in the "Our Use of Cookies" section of this document.
